Annual Meeting / Board Elections

On Saturday, May 12th we will be holding our Annual Meeting and Election of our new Board of Directors for the 2018-2019 season.   The brief Annual Meeting will be at 10:15am in between fields 1 and 2 where we will inform you of the condition of the League and provide a summary of our finances. After the meeting, the winners of the team baskets raffles will be announced as well as a live auction of the coveted Sunrise Parking spot.  At 11:30 a.m. the silent auction and 50/50 raffle will conclude.

Polls will be open immediately following the meeting at approximately 10:45 a.m. until 5pm and the ballot box will be located on the first base side of field 1 behind the bleachers.

We would like all our Sunrise Families to attend the 
Annual Meeting  and vote in order to elect our new Board so PLEASE COME OUT AT VOTE.  However, in order for the Annual Meeting and Election to take place, we need at least 85 families to attend on May 12th.  There is one vote per family.  If you don’t have a game, swing by the field and vote and watch some of the upper division play off games. We have many qualified candidates running for the board this year, so please come out and vote for your candidate of choice.
 
If you cannot make it for some reason, Absentee Ballots will be available starting Thursday MAY 6th.   You may contact Tamara Ehrlich, Secretary SLL at ehrlich@sunrisebaseball.com 
and request an Absentee Ballot, which will need to be placed in a sealed, signed envelope and returned to Tamara no later than Friday, May 11th at 7:00 p.m.  ABSENTEE BALLOTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED on Saturday, May 12th. Once you receive an absentee ballot, you cannot receive a ballot on election day.  Please bring a photo Identification in order to vote.
